Part One: Trouble code and trouble-shooting strategies for induction cooktops

The owner and chefs count on Lestov induction cooktop for high quality and good services. Because they are electronic products, when they fail, the restaurant's business may be affected without spare parts. So we write some Support titles to help customers. Below are introductions for trouble code and trouble-shooting strategies for 380v induction cooktops.

Warm tips:

-- If the problem you may experience is easy-to-fix, that is very nice. But again, if you need special help, please mail us.

-- Any time, welcome your engineers or technicians to visit our factory and learn more to learn more about maintenance skills of induction cooking equipment.

Trouble code: E1

--Possible reasons of trouble: No Pot / No pan

--Trigger condition of trouble & Trouble-shooting strategies:

Trigger condition of trouble

Trouble-shooting strategies

Power phase shortage

Check with Magnetic table tool whether the power terminal is AC 380v. Power phrase shortage occurs If any measurement is about 200v. (Measure "ab" " ac" " bc" respectively .)

Bridge pile failure

Measure with Magnetic table tool, forward resistance of 1-2 and 1-3 angles should be 300-400Ω, reverse impassable. forward resistance of 2-3 angle should be around 600-700Ω, reverse impassable. 1-5 and 2-7 angles passable. symmetric upper and lower deviations of 4-5 and 6-7 angular resistance no greater than 10 Ω

IGBT failure

Magnetic table tool measurement of 1-2 1-3 angular forward resistance of 300-400 ohms, reverse 2-3 angle forward resistance of 600-700 ohms or so of 1-5 angle 2-7 angle conduction error of 4-5-6-7 angle resistance is not greater than 10 ohms.

Control board failure

Check the small components on the control board for any obvious shedding, damage phenomenon, if not obvious fall off, change the control board to identify its functional or not.

Drive wiring failure

Check for any obvious shedding, disconnection, or measure with millimeter if 2-terminals conducting.

Resistance plate failure

Check if there is any shedding, damage, or breakdown in the resistance panel. Or measure if 4-5 and 6-7 conducting with a Magnetic table tool.

Output transformer failure or wire disconnect

Check if there is false welding, virtual welding, wire breakage

Power overload

Use the submersible current meter to measure its current, whether there is a flash "intermittently heating" when the adjustment does not work.

Heat dissipation fan failure

Measure with Magnetic table tool, AC fan has resistance value, DC fan has no resistance value.

Resonant capacitance failure

Check from its appearance if there is any bulging or cracking, measure its capacity with Magnetic table detection tool if it is rated capacity.

Trouble code: E2

--Possible reasons of trouble: Coil over temperature

The fan does not work ,coil sensor short-circuited.

Check if the fan work properly and the coil sensor short-circuited.

Trouble code: E3

--Possible reasons of trouble: Coil NTC failure
